For them, the abundance of sometimes unnecessary functions is not so important, which can greatly slow down the system and become a reason for taking up extra space on disk drive... Apparently, Yandex thought about this and decided to present to the market a light version of its popular browser - Yandex Browser Light. Let's take a look at the new product and determine if the application can really be useful to users.

You can download the mini-browser from Play Store... At the moment, the download file weighs less than a megabyte - this is really very small compared to other mobile browsers.

After completing the installation, open a browser. At the top of the interface, you see a tabbed display. To delete unnecessary links, you must click and hold on them, and then confirm the deletion. At first glance, you cannot change the contents of the scoreboard, but in fact, creating a new link is quite easy - just add the desired page to your bookmarks, and it will appear on the scoreboard itself.

Under the bookmarks there is a Yandex.Zen feed, which can be disabled in the application settings. To do this, switch the switch "Show recommendation feed" to the inactive position. There are few browser settings: everything is still at a minimum, but it's not for nothing that the version is called "Light". After disabling Zen, the browser looks even more minimalistic and simpler, which is definitely a plus.

While the browser is still quite young, it has a good chance of becoming a popular product. Simplicity of the interface, small size (only a few megabytes, several times smaller than the main version of Yandex Browser), quick start- all this confirms that the new product from Yandex deserves attention and may be useful for users weak devices or simply wanting to have a spare "lightweight" browser.

Many popular applications have light versions such as Facebook Lite, Twitter Lite, or Skype Lite. They are intended primarily for those users who want to save bandwidth and device hardware resources.
