Household robots for the home. Assistant robots Home robotics

Assistant robots.

1. Robot artist-bully.

A robot invented to help painters. This robot, created by Japanese designers, can only do one thing - paint walls. To paint the walls, the robot uses a twin hose, mounted on a hinge and connected to the tank. There are several tanks and several shades of paint can be poured into them and the robot will take turns applying them to the surface to be painted. The robot moves using a chassis and an electric motor.

2. Robot fish.

A robot fish named Danio was created to monitor the composition of water and purify it, as well as to study the behavior of fish in their natural environment. Danio is developed at the British Institute of Physics. The design of the fish robot should be such that, being constantly in the aquatic environment, the work of the internal elements is in no way disturbed.

The robot fish has the appearance of a Danio fish, which is why it acquired this name. The robot is so similar to the species of Danio's fish that when placed in the company of fellows, they, in turn, could not understand that she was a robot and tried to nail her to the flock. The robot is completely autonomous and can spend a long time in water.

3. SCV is a robot rescuer.

A robot created by Japanese designers. Due to the fact that the Japanese islands are prone to devastating earthquakes and tsunamis, it is very difficult for rescuers to look for people under the rubble, and the designers of robots have created a rescue robot to help them. The robot is equipped with video cameras and the ability to transmit images to a remote monitor.

In addition to cameras, the robot is equipped with two wheels and a guide track. The uniqueness of the robot lies in the fact that its entire body is hidden in a solid leather casing, and the cameras are hidden under powerful glass. Thanks to this, the robot is not afraid of dust, dirt, or water, which can damage its insides. At the moment, there is a small prototype of this robot, but it is known that in the future it is planned to make a massive machine out of SCV (Slug Crawler Vehicle) that will help in finding people.

4. AutoMee Robot Screen Cleaner. Little cleaner.

AutoMee Robot Screen Cleaner is a small robot that can keep your tablet clean. A small $ 40 toy designed to wipe the screen of your tablet.

Thanks to this little assistant, there will be no more dust and fingerprints on the screen of your tablet.

5. Vacuum robot cleaner.

And here's another little robot to help you keep your desk clean. Everyone has already heard about the vacuum robot vacuum cleaner, but we present you with its little brother. If you often eat buns, cookies or other foods that crumble easily at your desk, then this small, vacuum robot cleaner is just for you. It moves silently across the table and sucks in all the crumbs.

6. Robot for cleaning windows.

Having rummaged through the Internet, I realized that there are a great many such robots. Slightly fewer than robotic vacuum cleaners. Such a robot will easily clean your dusty windows.

Due to the vacuum, the robot is kept on the glass and thanks to it, it does not fall down. The robot chooses the route by which it will be easier for him to bring your windows to shine. This pleasure will cost you about $ 600.

7. Robots are gardeners.

Gardening robots from Harvest Automation. These robots are designed to help gardeners grow potted plants. In general, robotic gardeners do nothing except drag the pots of plants from place to place, but for large greenhouses, where millions of pots are in use, these robots are a great help. happens very often.

Gardener robot

The gardener robot moves the pots at a predetermined distance and places them at a distance from each other such as is currently set in his program. The parameters can be changed. For the robot to work, the gardener needs only a magnetic tape attached to the floor by which he orients himself in space.

8. Robot strawberry picker.

Another robot designed to facilitate the work of gardeners. The strawberry picker robot, like most modern robots, is developed by a Japanese company. The two-meter robot is designed to work in special greenhouses. In Japan, strawberries are grown differently from ours. Japanese strawberries grow in special greenhouses, and to save space inside the greenhouses, there are multi-tiered racks, and strawberries grow on these racks.

The strawberry picking robot rolls along the racks and, with the help of three cameras, estimates the ripeness of the berry, with which it also determines the distance to the berry. After calculating the ripeness of the fruit and the distance to it, the robot cuts the berries into a tray using a mechanized gripper. As conceived by the developers, the picking robot can pick strawberries at night, and the farmer, having come to work in the morning, should only check if any berry is hidden from the robot behind a leaf.

9. Robot lantern.

Probably in the near future such robots-lanterns will roam the streets of all the megalopolises of the world, but so far they have appeared only in Japan. The device is called Toro-bot and it looks like some kind of alien creature.

Infrared sensors built into the robot allow the robots to navigate in space and detect the approach of a person. In addition, robots also have beacons that help them recognize each other. Each robot can be configured individually and give it its own line of behavior.

10. Robot carrier.

A budgee porter who has to follow his owner everywhere and carry his purchases. The robot has two wheels, a basket with a capacity of 22 kg. The robot does not have a navigation system, it just tirelessly follows its owner and follows on the heels everywhere. For this, the robot has a special ultrasonic transmitter.

There is also a special program for smartphones to configure the robot, where you can specify at what distance the budgee should roll. After you have made purchases with budgee, you can pack it and put it in the trunk, for example.

Creativity, work on the modern idea of world outlook and constant search for answers

In 2015-2016, these robots are usually highly specialized - each for one type of activity. In the future, we can expect the emergence of multifunctional, universal robots capable of performing various types of activities.

Classification (varieties)

As a rule, we are talking about a mobile or voice interface to the control program for one or another "smart home" functionality. However, the functionality of the butler can be broader, including, for example, the duties of a personal robot (companion robot, assistant robot, etc.).

Robots primarily designed for food preparation. It can also be 3D printers. One of the concepts is two manipulators controlled by an AI program equipped with technical vision. Such "robotic hands" prepare food in a way that humans are familiar with.

Bush pruning robots

Gardi is a robot for curly pruning of bushes, presented at the 2015 Robotics Expo 2015 in Sokolniki.

Trimbot2020: Kinova robot arm mounted on Bosh Indigo lawnmower platform, known in 2018.

Swimming pool cleaning robots

Robots for bactericidal treatment of premises

There are security robots for various purposes. There are many home robots out there. There are security robots designed to guard apartments and houses, as well as those that can also guard the territory adjacent to the house. Mobile and fixed. For example: iCamPro Deluxe, RAMSEE. Riley, SensorSphere, Trawl Patrol.

The most prominent representative of the family of robots - pets in the 2000s was the robot dog Aibo. Despite the fact that this project was promoted by Sony, it failed, and psychologists said that such a fate was quite expected for anyone who understands what people want from their pets. Among other qualities were called "easy unpredictability of behavior", "the ability to feel their duties and responsibility for a living being", "to act as a silent, attentive and understanding interlocutor." The first generations of robotic pets did not provide all this to their owners, so the sad end of the project was expected. That does not prevent followers from trying to succeed in this field.
Examples of products: Aibo, Sony - doggy; CHIP K9 is a dog.

Companions, entertainment robots, social robots / interlocutor robots, rehabilitation robots for the elderly or other categories of needy

For example, Pepper, Asus Zenbo, Jibo, Da Zhi, etc.

Ironing robots

One of the types of household robots, the purpose of which is obvious from the name.

There are no commercial samples as of 2016.02

One of the types of "household robots", you can use these at home or, for example, in dry cleaning, laundry.

Robots for adults

A category of robots addressed, for example, to people who are lonely, shy or sick. There is hardly any doubt that such robots will become widespread, first of all in Japan, and then in other countries of the world. There are also critics who believe that this direction is unethical and can harm human society.

Devices for hygiene (toilets), feeding, entertainment for pets.

Robotic furniture is a modular design that allows you to quickly reconfigure the same room in accordance with current tasks in real time. Electric drives, obeying the programmed program or pressing buttons in the application, move beds or tables out of the depths of the robotic complex, adjust the configuration of cabinets and shelves. And in a robotic house, even partitions between rooms can move in the way the owner needs now. Both in manual mode and automatically, for example, in such a house, the curtains will open just when the owner gets up, at the same time, for example, a coffee maker will turn on.

A device for the automated movement (transportation) of things on trips. As a rule, it has the following capabilities: holds several tens of kilograms of luggage (up to 15-30 kg); is able to independently follow the "owner", being guided by the signal of a pocket radio beacon; when the signal is lost, it turns on loud sound signals; thanks to a digital camera and a set of sensors, it is able to find its way in a crowd of people without colliding with them, without falling from unfenced platforms or stairs.

2015.08 It is reported about the resumption of work on the creation of a robot suitcase after the developers of the Russian company Robotronics received funding from one of the Skolkovo investment funds. So far, this is only a concept. The idea of the robot is to follow the owner automatically. The driving distance is set via the smartphone app, communication with the three-wheeled robot is via BT. If the distance increases, the smartphone and suitcase will sound an alarm. The design of the robot suitcase includes a gyroscope, photosensors, ultrasound and IR sensors, which allows it not to bump into obstacles, move off inclined planes, and not fall from a height. The batteries are charged for 2 hours of driving, the charger is built into the case, which is also equipped with a soft bumper. The user can turn on the "side lights". The maximum transported weight is up to 30 kg. The first prototype is scheduled to be presented in spring 2016. Estimated price - $ 2000. The idea is not original, Canadian designer Peter Yeadon came up with the Fido Lugguge work suitcase back in the mid-2000s, however, it never came to a commercial release. Source: robotronic.ru

2015.04.26 Remain in eternity as a robot avatar? Robots imitating human personality.

Automation tools are increasingly entering our lives. Washing machine, microwave oven, multicooker - and this list can go on for quite some time. But such automatic assistants can not only be bought in the store, but also made by hand. Three of them will be discussed in this article.

What is a robot

This is the name for automatic devices that operate in an attempt to copy the principle of movement of living organisms. They can carry out various operations that have been prudently implemented using hardware and software. Receiving information about the external world is carried out with the help of sensors that act as senses, which are inherent in living organisms. In this case, there may be a connection with the operator and the ability to process his commands. Their appearance is not tied to a single standard. So, in production, robots are used, which, for reasons of an economic and technical nature, are far from humans. This term can also be used in relation to software, for example, with the prefix "search" or as an object of the game - "bot".

Home robots

Robotics is one area that has seen a significant surge of interest in recent years. In many ways, this can be explained by heredity (radio amateurism was very popular in the Soviet Union). When creating robotic structures at home, usually does not require significant investment, which allows a fairly large number of people to have such a hobby. In addition, a domestic robot can perform a number of useful functions, which is why they are often assembled to make life easier. I suggest that you familiarize yourself with a few representatives that can be relatively easily assembled.

What you need to do home robotics

In the technical part, you should have a workplace, a soldering iron, solder, rosin and elements that will be used in the circuits. From a theoretical point of view, you need to know what and how connects in order to get the desired result. There may be certain problems with the latter, but then the Internet is at your service, where you can ask for advice and get it in order to bring closer the moment when the home robot will be able to perform the tasks assigned to it. This topic is quite popular, so it will not be difficult to find an answer to your question or ask it on a specialized site. For now, let's look at some examples of home robotic assistants.

Automatic backlight

Lanterns serve us as the sun in the dark. This design will be useful for those who often have their hands busy, as well as for people with disabilities who are not always comfortable using conventional lighting. How will it work? As a reference point for the robot, you can take an infrared signal beacon that can be attached anywhere (shirt, boots, object). For its manufacture, you can use LEDs that generate a signal of the required range. The robot itself can be placed on a wheeled platform (placed on a hill) and set in motion using two motors (or one that can rotate in two directions). The backlight will be activated by infrared phototransistors. Two switches can be used to get it up and running. This robot assistant for the home does not fall or get damaged, it can be placed in a PVC tube with additional support in the form of rubber bands. If desired, this design can be easily improved.

Robot cleaner

I propose now to consider a device, the purpose of which is to clean the room, slowly but surely. This model is a vibrobot and is developed on the basis of a conventional brush. The components include a vibration motor, a standard battery and a switch. The assembly is not difficult. It is necessary to connect the battery to the engine, to it - the switch. Further, the entire structure is attached to the brush and turned on. This home robot vibrates while cleaning the surface. The design has significant improvement prospects.

Window Washer Robot

Perhaps the most complex design. Here, in addition to the obvious need for a motor, it is also necessary to ensure that the device can move vertically. To control the entire process, it will be necessary to resort to the help of microcontrollers. To facilitate the construction, you can use not a battery, but connect the robot to the power supply. A small motor can be used as a cleaning device, which will constantly move the cleaning element in a circle or in two directions. Small suction cups can be used to attach the structure, which will be good enough to hold the robot, but will not stop its movement (like a gecko).

Conclusion

And that's not all the possibilities! Home robots can be used in a wide variety of ways. And let the samples described in the article do not limit your imagination. After all, a person can make up any gadgets. Home robot assistants can help with a bunch of other things: for example, you can modify the iron so that it can move independently. Or create a hand that attaches to the ironing board and move it around. As you can see, there are a lot of options. And what your home robot will be - it's up to you.

1. INTRODUCTION

It's no secret that putting things in order is not the most exciting thing to do. Many boys and girls, and adults too, do not like cleaning. There is not always the time and desire to clean the house, but modern technologies make it possible to create robotic assistants. Robots have long been a part of our life and help to make it easier.

I consider my project to be relevant, due to the fact that in the modern world time is worth its weight in gold, and it is simply irrational to spend it on everyday cleaning tasks.

Once, after my parents bought a robot vacuum cleaner, I thought: How are robotic assistants created? And who is working on it? What other robots are there? In technology lessons, we got acquainted with computers and their device, and in computer science lessons, the guys and I drew robots and made algorithms for its actions, but this information was not enough for me. I asked my classmates if they knew about the device of robots, but they also found it difficult to answer.

It became very interesting for me to try myself in the role of an engineer-inventor. I set myselfgoal make a robot assistant with your own hands. To achieve this goal, I need to solve the followingtasks :

1. Study the literature, collect information on this topic.

2. Summarize and analyze the information received.

3. Make a plan of work on the project.

4. Present the result of your work.

2. MAIN PART

2. 1 ... RESEARCH AND ITS RESULTS

I conducted a survey among classmates. For this I have drawn up a questionnaire (Appendix 1). 23 people were interviewed, 12 boys and 11 girls.

After analyzing the survey, I found out that:

1) Most of the guys in my class love robots;

Do you love robots?

2) The guys believe that the main application of robots is in science and in the military sphere;

3) Most of the guys in my class don't know how robots are made;

Do you know how robots are made?

4) Classmates learn about robots, mainly through movies and cartoons, but many have not been able to remember familiar robots.

The guys in my class believe that robots are needed in the modern world, they help us cope with difficult tasks, and they also entertain us and bring joy into our lives.

2.2. ABOUT ROBOTS.

2.2.1. HISTORY OF CREATION OF ROBOTS.

I went on the Internet to the site of the free encyclopedia "Wikipedia" and read that the word Robot translated from Czech (from robota- bonded labor) means an automatic arrangement. Acting according to a predetermined program and receiving information about the external world of the transmitters, the robot independently performs operations that are usually performed by a person. At the same time, the robot can receive commands from the operator or act autonomously.

I looked for information about robots in various sources: from books, the Internet, educational television programs. Here's what I learned about the history of the creation of robots.

The word “robot” came from the pen of the Czech science fiction writer Karel Čapek, who wrote the play “R. W. R. " - "Rossum Universal Robots" (Fig. 1), which told about a factory that produces artificial people. After the book was translated into English, the term robot conquered the whole world. Rfig. 1

Although, as it turned out, the idea of creating robots is not at all new, as it might seem. The androids came to us from ancient myths: this is Galatea - a statue of a woman, revived by her creator Pygmalion; it is Cadmus who sowed the field with the teeth of a dragon to raise an army of soldiers; it is the clay giant Mistcalf, created by the troll Rungner to fight the god Thor.

In 1495, Leonardo da Vinci designed the mechanical knight (Fig. 2) fig. 2

But it was only in the 18th century that the first clockwork mechanisms appeared, imitating living beings. French mathematician Jacques de Vaucanson(Fig. 3) in 1727 he opened a workshop and began to design various mechanisms.

Fig. 3 well-known - these are copper ducks, which fluttered, beat their wings, pecked the scattered food (Fig. 4); and the mechanism is a figure the size of a man who played the flute.

Fig. 4At the end of the 19th century, the Russian inventor Pafnutiy Chebyshev (Fig. 5) presented a project of a "stop-walk" - a humanoid off-road vehicle (Fig. 6).

R fig.5

R fig. 6

And in 1898, Serb Nikola Tesla (Fig. 7) tested a radio-controlled ship (Fig. 8), after which the march of robots around the world could no longer be stopped.

R fig. 8

R fig. 7

In 1960, the first multifunctional self-propelled platforms were created to collect all the same radioactive materials, and in 1970, after the end of the Lunar programs of the USA and the USSR, devices for the disposal of explosive objects appeared, for example, the ultralight mobile robot MRK-01 of the Moscow State Technical University. Bauman (Fig. 9). Fig. 9

2.2.2. TYPES OF ROBOTS.

Currently, modern robots are used in all spheres of human activity. People have received faithful helpers who are capable not only of performing work dangerous to human life, but also freeing mankind from monotonous and routine work. I bring to your attention five of the most popular and demanded robots:

Humanoid robots -they are able to imitate human feelings:touch, hearing, speech, sight. They can also demonstrate clothes, provide care services for the elderly and disabled people (Fig. 10).

If you have a large lawn and you have absolutely no time to care for it, a robotic lawn mower can help you improve the quality of both your lawn and your lifestyle (Fig. 11).

Rfig. 10

Washing windows is a necessary job, but not the most pleasant, and sometimes even dangerous when it comes to high floors.a multifunctional robot for cleaning windows and glass was created (Fig. 12). The powerful vacuum motor holds it on almost any vertical or horizontal surface. He can also clean tiled walls and floors and mirrors.

Fig. 11

Fig. 12

Robots are very popular, which can fly above the ground and take photos and videos (Fig. 13).

Fig. 13

Another indispensable robot assistant is a rocking robot that repeats the movements of mothers who rock babies in their arms - being not around, you can be sure that your baby will fall asleep peacefully (Fig. 14).

Fig. 14

Cleaning robots are now very popular, which are, in fact, automatic vacuum cleaners that can independently clean up an apartment and return to a place to recharge without human intervention (Fig. 15).

Fig. 15

2.2.3. ROBOTS IN LITERATURE, IN FILM AND CARTOONS.

Of course, myths and facts related to robots are reflected in the literature. The very word "robot" first appeared in the work "Rossum Universal Robots" by the Czech writer Karel Čapek. The word "robota" in Czech means "hard labor", "hard work" - hence the "robot" appeared. The action of the play "RUR" took place in a factory for the production of robots, although these were not iron machines, but rather androids (Fig. 16) - after all, they were created from human tissues.Fig. 16

For the first time, Chapek asked his readers a question - is it humane to use artificial people as a consumable and what consequences their creation can have.

Cinematography simply could not ignore such an interesting topic as robots, and everything connected with them. First of all, robots "contributed" to the fantasy genre. It is impossible not to recall the mechanical pair of all times and peoples from the Star Wars trilogy, robots named "R2-D2" and "C-3PO" (Fig. 17).

Animation also has its Greatest Robot. Oscar winner and concurrently the best cartoon about the love of robots. Of course, this is my favorite cartoon "WALL-E" (fig. 18).

Fig. 17

He tells about the world, when humanity left the earth, leaving the Universal Annihilator (i.e. cleaner) Landscape Light Intelligent for short, WALL-E) to clean up after itself. But the mechanical heart of WALL-E could not resist the beauty of the robot EVA, which flew to Earth in search of a living plant.

Fig. 18

2.3. RELEVANCE OF DEVELOPMENT OF ROBOTICS.

The topic of this work is relevant, since the development of robotics is ongoing. Since their appearance half a century ago, robots have gone from primitive mechanisms to complex effective devices, in many ways surpassing humans in their capabilities. In the coming decades, more and more advanced robots will become indispensable helpers of people and will be able to take over most of the needs of civilization.

Currently, the development of robotics is included in the list of priority areas of technological development in the field of information technology, which are determined by the Government as part of the "Strategy for the development of the information technology industry in the Russian Federation for 2014–2020 and for the future until 2025". An important condition for the successful training of engineering and technical personnel is the introduction of engineering and technical education in the education system of schoolchildren.Fig. 19

Educational robotics allows you to involve children in the process of technical creativity, starting from primary school age, gives students the opportunity to create innovations with their own hands, and lay the foundations for the successful mastering of the profession of an engineer in the future (Fig. 19, Fig. 20)

As the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said: "Already at school, children should have the opportunity to reveal their abilities, prepare for life in a high-tech competitive world."Fig. 20

Russian President Vladimir Putin, announcing a message to the Federal Assembly on December 3, 2016, announced the need to create an Agency for Technological Development, which willsearch for promising developments (Fig. 21).This Agency will open in Russia this summer.

3. CONCLUSION

Having completed this project, I achieved mygoals : created your own robot assistant! As a result of the work done, I learned a lot, read a lot of literature.

It took 3 hours of free time to create my assistant robot. As you can see, my robot does not require special skills and large cash costs. Having made a comparison (Appendix 2) between a robot - a vacuum cleaner bought in a store and a robot made by myself, I realized that my robot has its advantages. After all, inexpensive materials were used to create it, and some, for example, fans can be removed from an old computer. Of course, my robot will not solve all the tasks associated with cleaning, but it will be able to rub the table or floor to a shine.

Having completed this project, I tried myself in the role of an engineer-inventor and in practice I got acquainted with modern technologies, received additional knowledge useful for my further professional and personal development.

After doing this work, I did output: that creating robots is a very exciting activity that requires a lot of knowledge. I present to your attention my project and propose to see what I have done. Thank you for the attention!

Twenty years ago, we could easily do without mobile communications, and not everyone had landline telephones. And now - we live in an age of new technologies, which are improving every day and offer us something new, almost descended from the pages of science fiction novels. And the new generation can no longer imagine study, work and leisure without smartphones, tablets, laptops and other gadgets. And for the advanced and fashionable, the home robot assistant was invented.

What it is?

A home robot assistant is a device whose purpose is to help a person in everyday life. Unlike ordinary household appliances, it is endowed with artificial intelligence, albeit not yet completely perfect, but work in this direction does not stop.

There are different units with specific functionality: glass cleaners, lawn mowers, pool cleaners. But the most popular in recent years have been robotic vacuum cleaners. Read about them below.

Description

This is an artificial intelligence unit, the purpose of which is automatic cleaning of premises. The modern device is often in the form of a disc with a diameter of about 30 cm and a height of 10 cm. The front of the robot is equipped with a large contact sensor (bumper) that helps it avoid collisions with obstacles. Such an assistant works on internal batteries, and is recharged from the base (special module), which it finds and connects itself after cleaning. It charges from two to five hours, depending on the type of battery used.

In the process of cleaning, the home robot moves autonomously along the surface, collecting debris along the way. With the help of special algorithms, he decides how to overcome the obstacle encountered. Thanks to its low height, this “smart” vacuum cleaner easily fits under a bed or other furniture. If he nevertheless gets stuck and cannot move, he will notify the owner with sound signals.

Organization of the cleaning process

The home robot vacuum cleaner, depending on the functionality, is included in one of the following groups:

  • Cleaning only with suction power (most economical and smallest models). The debris is drawn into the dust collector through a narrow slot. It is located on the bottom of the device. Due to the weak suction power in relation to conventional vacuum cleaners, such an assistant will only cope with the collection of light debris, dust and wool from a smooth surface.
  • Powered by suction power and turbo brush. On the bottom of such vacuum cleaners there is a fast-rotating brush that sweeps debris into a dust collector. In parallel, air is drawn in through the slot for the turbo brush, due to which the dust cloud created by it is collected.
  • Similar to previous models, but with a double turbo brush. At the bottom of such machines there are two closely spaced brushes that rotate in opposite directions. One of them sweeps debris into the dust collector, and the second raises the pile of carpets. The brush unit moves vertically under its own weight for more efficient cleaning of carpets.
  • Wet polisher - equipped with a microfiber cloth that is constantly moistened from a vessel with water (through a capillary system). The use of such a module should be preceded by dry cleaning to avoid dirt stains. Usually it is produced not in the form of a stand-alone device, but in the form of a replaceable unit for units that suck dry debris.
  • A dry floor polisher, sometimes also called a robo-mop due to the lack of a suction system. Using the same microfiber cloth, he wipes the floor. Depending on the model, the vacuum cleaner can move debris both in front of it and spreading it from the center of the room to the corners (with the exception of the part that settles on the cloth).
  • The washing robot is distinguished by the function of moistening the surface from a container with water and further collecting the resulting dirt into a special container. This category is represented on the market by only a few models due to the rather laborious maintenance of such a "assistant".

How to make a home robot?

Devices with good functionality are usually expensive. But what if you do not have the right amount, and the desire to comply with fashionable technological trends is great? The answer is simple - do it yourself. As surprising as it may sound, a robot created with your own hands is real if you have the necessary information.

Tools

To complete the technical part, you should arm yourself with a soldering iron, solder, rosin and elements that will be used in the circuits. From theory, it would be nice to know what to connect with to get the desired result. What kind of robot can you make at home, you ask? Let's consider a couple of options.

Robot vacuum cleaner (home version)

This vibrating robot, capable of gradually but thoroughly cleaning a room, is designed around a simple brush. The components will be a vibration motor, a standard battery and a switch. The assembly is carried out as follows: we connect the engine to the battery, and the switch to it.

We attach the resulting structure to the brush and turn it on - the home robot vibrates and thus cleans the surface.

Glass Washer Robot

The mechanism is more complicated here. It is necessary to force the machine to move vertically. Microcontrollers help control the entire process. To keep the device less bulky, you can connect it to the power supply without using the battery. A small motor will act as a cleaning mechanism, constantly moving the cleaning element in a circle or in opposite directions. It is convenient to mount the structure on small suction cups.

Conclusion

Life in the world of new technologies surprises us with its developments every day. And the considered types of robot assistants are far from all that the market offers to the modern buyer. Recent developments present us with robots, practically family members, who can make video calls, control smart home components, entertain a child, and so on.

But don't underestimate your ability to create home helpers either. After all, a robot, created with your own hands, is an exclusive model, a source of pride, and in general it costs more than any money. Moreover, there are a lot of options in this area. You can turn the iron into a robot that can move on the board itself. Or make it in the form of a hand attached to the ironing board and moving it. It all depends on your imagination and desire.
