Appearance and usability

The design of the Acer Liquid Z3 smartphone is unremarkable at first glance, but, nevertheless, Acer was awarded the prize for it. The smartphone does not stand out with any pattern on the back panel - it is simple, beautiful and clear.

Rear panel excellent. The body is plastic, but with a soft-touch coating. Fingerprints, surprisingly, do not remain. Taking it in hand, the smartphone evokes only positive emotions - it is pleasant to the touch and easy to use.

The diagonal of the display is 3.5 inches, as in the past iPhone smartphones... By today's smartphone dimensions, many would argue that 3.5 inches is not a cake. However, the Apple smartphone has been used for many years and most argued that this is the most convenient display diagonal to use. In my case, everything is fine, the smartphone lies comfortably in the hand and does not ask to jump out and fly on the asphalt or any other solid surface.

The display is unfortunately not protected by any cool newfangled Corning Gorilla Glass. Normal plastic is used, but for me this is not a disadvantage. I'm not going to cut the smartphone with a knife in order to test its resistance to scratches or any other mechanical stress.

On front panel there are three touch-sensitive main keys for controlling the Android operating system - these are "Back", "Home" and "Running applications". The buttons are not backlit, but again I would like to note that for four thousand rubles this can be left in the background. It's time to remember the location of the control buttons, right? Above there is a button for turning on / off the device, as well as a standard headset jack.

The left side face is not exposed by any connectors or keys. As for the right one, there is already something to roam about - the volume control buttons. There is no key to start the camera, and I don't need it.

At the bottom you can find a MicroUSB connector for connecting and synchronizing a smartphone with a computer, as well as a microphone. On the back is the main camera with a resolution of 3 megapixels without flash and external speaker with DTS sound technology.

Acer Liquid Z3 is equipped with a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 480x320 pixels. Those who love to look at the pixels on the display will be happy - the graininess is, of course, present. Display quality on high level, the colors are bright and vivid, when the device is tilted, the colors are not distorted.

The minimum and maximum brightness levels can be called optimal for use in a dark room, or outdoors in the open air with direct sunlight. There are no drawbacks regarding the display, even the viewing angle does not cause any denial. For everyday use, the display of a smartphone cannot be called bad for such a budget segment.

Smartphone Acer Liquid Z3 works on the basis of operating system Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Fortunately, when I turned on the smartphone, I did not find any traces of the proprietary shell - it simply does not exist, but for me this is a plus. In operation, a clean shell is convenient and shows its best side, does not have any settings. There are no lags, bugs, brakes, which is surprising. The icon design is standard, there are some additional widgets, the system is not cluttered with unnecessary applications.

Performance
